Patient Safety
Patient safety is improved by providing a standardised organisational tray system that segregates by drug type according to the ISO26825:2020 critical care colours in a clean bacteriostatic tray.
These safety measures have all individually been recognised to support a reduction in medication error and improvements in patient safety:
Unsafe medication practices and medication errors are a leading cause of injury and avoidable harm in health care systems across the world.
Medication Without Harm aims to reduce severe avoidable medication-related harm by 50%, globally in the next 5 years. It was formally launched at the World Health Organisation Second Global Ministerial Patient Safety Summit in Bonn, Germany on 29 March 2017.
